In the midst of the current national crisis, many are frustrated, confused, distressed and even depressed. For Christians, it's a time to share the gospel, the ultimate solution for life's problems. Today's message focuses on the principles of the gospel.
Romans 1:16
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
2 Tim 1:12
That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.
How do we, as Christians, address the current crisis?
1. Racism is a sin against God
2. Lawlessness is a sin against God
3. The root of these problems is SIN
Gospel is the only solution for the sin problem.
Christian Gospel is that it works, that it is not a mere theory, but that it is something which really does what it claims to do, that it enables a man to live in a real sense in this world.
-Martyn Lloyd-Jones
Paul's life motto: I am not ashamed of the gospel
