As we are participating in 40 days of prayer for family, church, and country, today we will focus on the topic of perseverance.
Hebrews 10:36-38
36You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” 38 And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

Perseverance is a product of faith believing and expecting that God will come in His time.
37 For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.”
How can we persevere until the end?
1. We must increase our faith!
38 And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”
Romans 5:3
3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings,because we know that suffering produces perseverance;4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.5 And hopedoes not put us to shame, because God’s lovehas been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit,who has been given to us.
In the midst of crises, we are to develop our faith! It is an opportunity for us to grow!
James 1:2-4 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,3 because you know that the testing of your faithproduces perseverance.4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be matureand complete, not lacking anything
2. We must learn to fight in spiritual warfare
Ephesians 6:11-12 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
