1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
I Peter 1:13
13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.
I Peter 3:15
15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect
In Christ, we have the living hope!

Foundation of the Living Hope
I Peter 1:13

II Thess 2:16
16 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17 encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
What kind of hope do we have in Christ?
1. Hope of Salvation
Romans 10:13
for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith
Ephesians 1:7
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace
2. Hope of Transformation
2 Corinthians 3:18
And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Philippians 3:21
who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
3. Hope of Restoration
Life Restoration
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eter nal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
Kingdom Restoration
Acts 3:21He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.
